Foster Parent Support Meetings

Current and prospective foster parents learned about how they can support youth who are "aging out" of the foster care system. Hava White led the discussion and showed a video documentary made by former foster youth entitled "From Place to Place." This documentary was amazing!

We take training seriously around here, and our foster parents are living proof! They arrive early for dinner, and drop the kids off with our volunteer child care workers who do an excellent job each month. We require our families to earn 15 hours of training annually, nearly twice what's required by the State of California. Does this mean our foster parents are twice as good as the average foster family in California? We think so.
